The Activity Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity interventions that meet the mental, physical, social, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial and leisure needs of each Resident. Responsible for welcoming new residents to the facility making sure that ongoing overall needs of the residents are being met. The primary floor for this position would be the 2nd floor sub-acute rehabilitation unit. Must demonstrate the highest integrity and professionalism. Assist residents in reaching their highest potential or in maintaining their current abilities as per their goals. Must be enthusiatic, energetic, motivated, flexible and creative. May be required to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays per the needs of the department.
